Ooh, Shiny!

Site Info

The layout was made by me in Photoshop and features icons by me and the font Arial Black. This site opened on Friday, May 27, 2005. Isn't that a nice day? The name Ooh, Shiny! has two meanings. It's a reference to one of my favorite shows, Firefly, as well as my reaction to pretty things (like icons, of course).

The script that powers this site was coded by me, and no, it's not available for download. However, I have written a similar but less fancy icon sorting script, which is available for download. It's called ... wait for it ... IconSort. I rock at naming things, I do. It uses the magic of folders instead of mySQL so it's less complex, but if you like how this site is organized you'll probably like it, too. :)

Layout Info

The current layout features some lovely actresses, from left to right: Emily and Zooey Deschanel, Summer Glau, Amy Acker, and Alexis Bledel. It went up on June 26, 2006.
